Laura McCabe and I decided that we need to have a debate watching party and drinking game for this third debate on Wednesday. Who's interested? Don't know where yet, but I'm sure we can find some place that will show the debate and serve alcohol, or someone to host it. |

Yeah, that sounds really nice.
Definitely count me in any of that if I can get my presentation finished up by then.
I got a place in South Austin. A BIG tv that I have no other reason to watch other than to drink to debates. Also, a apartment mate that is a political critique-er, so that can make for some interesting comments, sometimes.
Does anyone think that Obama is just going to out McCain and Palin this time around and call him out on his vague plans and frank B.S. already? _________________ ~Andrew Scearce

Anyone else interested in hosting or have any suggestions on where we can go if Andrew can't? |

It'll be from 8-9:30, and then there's always an hour and a halfish of discussion on CNN before they rebroadcast the debate. Assuming I'm done with my presentation for Czyzewska on Thursday (ha!), I for one would probably like to stay for maybe an hourish to catch discussion, though I can't speak for anyone else. Is that too late? |

Ummmm, due to the combined powers of laziness and having stuff due the next day, I think Laura, Emily, and I are going to try to watch the debate in SM. Andrew and Kristin, you guys are welcome to come down and watch it with us, if you like! We haven't selected a venue yet, though. |
