DescriptionOK, so I messed up an order of refried beans for my hike this summer (y'all should check out the rauchy pics im putting up-of the hike) and ordered about 15 pounds of dehydrated refried beans instead of 1.5 ounces.
My big mistake, however, is going to turn into an event that wil be remembered forever as...The Great Bean Party.

Heres the deal. I will supply the beans and the tortillas, but everyone else needs to bring some sort of other additional: SALSA, PICO DE GALLO, GRILL MEAT/VEGGIES, hummus, dips, exotic cheeses that go well with beans, etc., etc., etc.
Post what you want to bring so everyone else knows whats coming in masse and what they can do to bring some variety to the table.
Homemade = style points.
Don't be afraid of showing off your skillz on the grill either. I will have some coals ready to go at 1pm for anyone wanting to grill 'em up some yardbird, cow-ass, or peppers; but let me know in advance if I need to stock up on additional charcoals.
Everyone can bring their own beer or booze or margarita stuff if thats the way you party.
And the event will go on as long as the night is young.

The UT Longhorns game versus the poo-lickin-off-my-boots Oklahoma State Cowboys kicks off at 2:30, so be there by then if you want to see it in action.

I have no interest in all y'all false positives and Palin supporters who say that they want to be lame and come AFTER the game. Of course you are welcome as always, but just keep it to y'all selves 'cause I get hulkishly angry when I dont go to any of the games in a given season.
However, I love to tailgate, so lets get the cheer and the beer (and a hell of a lot of beans) over to my place where we can have a great afternoon by the pool watching the Horns kick butt with a taco in one hand and a drink in the other.
